How does my child qualify for Grow Learning Centre services?
Day treatment services are paid for through Medicaid funding, including ARKids A, SSI and TEFRA. Grow Learning Centre can contact your insurance provider to determine your child’s coverage for therapeutic interventions.
Your child is eligible if he/she:
- Receives Medicaid funding
- Qualifies in Developmental and one of the following areas: Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and/or Nursing Services
- Treatment is prescribed by their Primary Care Physician (PCP)
What types of diagnosis are treated at Grow Learning Centre?
Children with many diagnoses are accepted for treatment at Grow Learning Centre, these may include but are not limited to:
- Developmental Delay
- Autism
- Failure to Thrive
- Speech/Language Delays
- Fine/Gross Motor Delays
- Seizure Disorders
- Prenatal Drug/Alcohol Exposures
- Cerebral Palsy
- Down Syndrome
- Other Cognitive Disorders
My child has needs that require nursing services during the day. Can my child still attend?
Yes, we have full-time nurses on staff to take care of your child’s needs. We have a commitment to providing safe, competent, and loving care for every patient.
My child has been diagnosed with speech & motor delays, when should my child start therapy?
As soon as possible! Research has shown that the earlier intervention is made and therapies are started, the better your child’s prognosis will be long term.
What age does my child have to be to attend Grow Learning Centre?
Any child from age 6 weeks to 6 years may attend. A kindergarten waiver is obtained for your child if he or she attends the program through 6 years of age.
